Gaston handles imports for the United States along with 32 other countries for this wonderful winery in Argentina which is experiencing phenomenal growth and popularity here in the U.S.

Luego de 10 semanas de intensa labor, nuestro enólogo principal y generete general, Gonzalo Bertelsen,  hablo sobre la época de vendimia en los viñedos y en la bodega. Pudo concluir que la cosecha 2011 fue exitosa  y que se pudo producir vinos con mucho color y fruta; de adecuada concetración y elegancia.

Malbec top Desing

The “Malbec Top Design” contest, organized by WineSur, has successfully concluded. More than 200 Malbec labels were assessed by an international jury and 12 of them, were awarded a Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.

In the February issue, Finca el Origen Reserve Malbec 2009 achieved 93 points, 

“A 600 acre property owned by the Chilean Winery Santa Carolina, Finca el Origen rises to an altitude of 4,000 feet. In 2009, the vineyard grew a Malbec with enveloping depths of flavor, generous ripeness and a lasting sense of freshness. The structure is tense, built to accompany a seared sirloin”.
