Mendoza, Valle Del Uco Y Cafayate:

In the words of Gonzalo Bertelsen, Finca el Origen chief winemaker.

The Uco Valley presented low temperatures during the 2009 Spring and 2010 Summer, which secured a slow and harmonic ripening process, low alcohol together with good acidity levels both in whites and reds, predicting fresh and balanced wines.

Whites from the Uco Valley and Cafayate came out very expressive in aromas with a great mouth feeling. The use of native yeast has given them depth and complexity. Argentina will definitely come out with impressive whites.

Reds have a great nose and round tannins, achieving the most seek combination of concentration and elegance. Moderated temperatures and cold breezes coming from the heights of the valley during the two last ripening months, allowed for concentration of sugar and phenolic maturity, especially in Malbecs.

Nature helped by vineyard management, table selection and works at the winery –all terroir components—will give birth to great wines, no doubt!
