“A 600 acre property owned by the Chilean Winery Santa Carolina, Finca el Origen rises to an altitude of 4,000 feet. In 2009, the vineyard grew a Malbec with enveloping depths of flavor, generous ripeness and a lasting sense of freshness. The structure is tense, built to accompany a seared sirloin”.

"For the production of this great Malbec, Finca El Origen owns exceptional vineyards in the Uco Valley, in Fundo La Esperanza, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, Situated 3,940 feet above the sea level. The Uco Valley is one of the most promising sub appellations within this Argentinean province. Our La Esperanza vineyard has well-drained soils. Its climate is influenced by its high altitude and the constant cold breezes from the Andes Range, resulting in big differences between night and day temperatures. This area has the ideal conditions for the development of this exceptional variety, resulting in an awesome fruit wine with great personality".
