After graduating from a Southern California High School, Gonzalo received a degree in agronomy specializing in enology and viticulture from the Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile. Gonzalo showed strong leadership and team-work while working as Chief Winemaker in two prestigious wineries of Chile, alternating harvests in France (Burdeaux, Languedoc -Roussillon), USA (Napa Valley), Australia (Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale), Spain (Campo de Borja) and Argentina. In 2007, he graduated from Adelaide University with a Masters in Oenology.

In 2009, he was appointed the formal Managing Director and Chief Winemaker for the Carolina Wine Brands’ Argentinean operation: Finca el Origen, winery focus on the production of premium wines with a boutique spirit.
