Winemakers comments:
The best appellation for Torrontés within Argentina is Cafayate, in the Salta Province. The vines we have in our Finca El Origen vineyards are 30 years old, clones selected from the original Argentinean Torrontés and planted at 5,500 feet above the sea level.
Our awarded Torrontés 2009 has bright yellow color with greenish tones. On the palate, is balanced, elegant with a nice volume which has a fresh round finish, with an attractive acidic sweetness, proper from this wine, a perfect expression of terroir
