The Argentinean winery, which belongs to Viña Santa Carolina, Chile; was honored for its wines at the 6thconsecutive Edition of the Argentina Wine Awards, the Argentine competition for export wines, which took place from 20th to 24th , February in Mendoza City. The wines “Finca el Origen Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon and Reserva Torrontés obtained Gold medals, also the wine Gran Reserva Malbec achieved silver medal and the Reserva Malbec received Bronze medal.

The Upper Uco Valley, one of the most prestigious areas for the planting of Malbec in Argentina and the challenge of a great Chilean winemaker: to obtain one of the top Malbec in the country.

 

As a sustainable winery, we understand that each person can do much to alleviate the problems that affect the Earth. For this we implemented some changes both in our packaging, as well as in our activities within the offices.

 

Last week we received our new “Sales Team” from Santa Carolina. They are going to be selling our wines in Europe and Asia. We feel very fortunate to have someone with their experience take over these responsibilities.

 

While cold temperatures and grim winter skies were affecting the US, a group of North American adventurers headed off to the South seeking to experience firsthand Carolina Wine Brands wines and people…and they succeeded.

Carolina Wine Brands is a winemaking holding lead by the Larraín family, which aims to be the best New World wine producer, mainly from Chile and Argentina. 
Today, we are present worldwide with 5 brands and in around 90 countries: Viña Santa Carolina, Viña Casablanca, Viña Ochagavía, Antares and Finca El Origen.
