Finca El Origen Malbec Gran Reserva Uco Valley Mendoza 2008 was chosen from among the 100 Top Best-Value in the Decanter magazine. It was in 61st place. This wine comes from vineyards in the Uco Valley at 1,200 meters above sea level. The Uco Valley is one of the most promising sub appellations within the Mendoza province. Our La Esperanza vineyard has well-drained soils. Its climate is influenced by its high altitude and the constant cold breezes from the Andes Range, resulting in big differences between night and day temperatures. This area has the ideal conditions for the development of this exceptional variety, resulting in an awesome fruit wine with great personality. it is composed of 94% Malbec and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. Among its outstanding features, its red-purple color, great body, structure and concentration can be highlighted. Its excellent balance between acidity and round tannins define this wine as having strong personality. Finca El Origen Malbec Gran Reserva is recommended to accompany with juicy and spicy red meats.
