This week, Robert Parker’s prestigious publication published Wine Advocate’s scores for Argentina and Chile. Among the wines under USD 20 rated by Jay Miller, the wine Finca el Origen Reserve Malbec, achieved 90 points.



Finca El Origen (, the Premium wine producer which belongs to Viña Santa Carolina, Chile; earned excellent scores for five of its wines in the December edition of “The Wine Advocate”, the most influential magazine as regards sales decisions in the US trade. Jay Miller, the Wine critic, tasted 386 Argentinean wines; Of these samples: Finca el Origen Reserve Malbec 2008 achieved 90 points, Just behind it Finca el Origen Reserve Torrontés 2009, Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 y Viognier 2009 received 88 points; Finally, Critics rated Finca el Origen Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 with 87 points. Grapes of these recognized Wines are from “La Esperanza Vineyard”, located in Uco Valley, Mendoza, at the foothill of the Andes Range, at 1.200 meters above the sea level. On the other hand, for the production of their Torrontés, Vineyards are located in Cafayate Valley, 1.700 m.a.s.l
